Where Space and Human Design Meet.
We are a multidisciplinary collective, working with space from the physical to the emotional, from the individual to the community.
We curate, design, construct and facilitate physical and relational spaces with a focus on building connection, belonging, and presence.Blending architecture, ritual, and community design, we invite a reimagining of how we perceive, create, and inhabit the world around us.
At the heart of our work lies the power of shared purpose. We co-create, bringing together diverse voices to design spaces that are collectively inspired, fostering creativity and a deep sense of ownership. We collaborate, reaching beyond the walls we design, embracing spaces that nurture connection, shared experiences, and a harmonious life.
Together, we believe in creating environments where people don’t just live, but truly thrive in communion with one another and the world around them.
Meet the Founders
At ON, our vision and mission are shaped by two women with a shared belief: that the spaces we inhabit deeply influence how we feel, connect, and grow.
Together, Francisca Alexandre and Chauntel R. Gerdes combine over 20 years of collective expertise in architecture, mental health, and community care to create environments that are not only functional, but transformative.
While Francisca created ON Spaces with the mission of connecting locals with intentional design and cooperative work, her vision brought in Chauntel, who joined her as the connector of dots, the builder of community and a channel for creative guidance and human network. As Founders, Friends, and Collaborators, Francisca and Chauntel have built a project rooted in shared purpose and connection.
